Mysk Al Badayer Retreat is a 5 Star Resort located in the southern region of Sharjah. The resort is nested within 230,000 square meters of prime desert is characterized by picturesque scenery and striking red dunes.

About the Project

The existing sewage collection tanks in the resort were not connected to the municipal sewage network, meaning the only available option to dispose the sewage generated at the hotel was by using a tanker to dispose the sewage at the nearest sewage treatment plant.

Scope and Realization

In July 2020, MENA-Water was delighted to be awarded by NCC Mahmoud Naboulsi & Co Contracting (Main contractor) for the design, engineering, procurement, construction and deliver of the complete sewage treatment plant.

For this project, MENA-Water provided its advanced packaged Membrane Bio Reactor (MBR) system, specifically the MR25-U model. This state-of-the-art system is capable of delivering a high-quality treated sewage effluent that meets strin- gent standards, making it suitable for various applications such as irrigation.

To ensure seamless operation and efficiency, the treatment plant is equipped with a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and remote monitoring capabilities. This allows MENA-Water to provide continuous after-sales support to the client, facilitat- ing prompt troubleshooting and maintenance whenever required.
