MWMR25The membrane bioreactor (MBR) is a wastewater treatment process combining membrane filtration with biological treatment. This innovative technology offers several advantages compared with the conventionally activated sludge process. Among these advantages are higher biomass concentration, eliminating the needs of secondary clarifiers and improved effluent quality.

MENA-Water transforms sewage to clear and high quality water. The small footprint of the treatment technology enables the systems to be integrated in natural, picturesque surroundings and to treat wastewater for highest standard usable for irrigation use.

Ultra Filtration
MBRThe core technology inside the MBR system is the membrane filtration unit which consists of ultra filtration membranes, arranged on stainless steel frame. The filtration reduces virus and bacteria by 99.9999%. Filter surfaces are continuously aerated through bubble diffusers to keep them clean. The membranes don’t need regular chemical cleaning except one or two maintenance clearings per year.

Standardized and Plug & Play

MENA-Water is developing compact package plants for MBR systems so that more than 1200 m³/day can be filtered in one 40-feet ISO container. The inside tanks are made of stainless steel sheets. Due to the standardized ISO container design the plants can be easily transported and quality testing at factory enables Plug & Play solutions at site.

Our package plants comprizes all necessary mechanical equipment and plant control. At the U-Version aeration and buffering takes place inside underground water tanks.
