Key Responsibilities:
Manage procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of wastewater treatment equipment, chemicals, and services.
Identify potential suppliers, conduct supplier evaluations, and negotiate contracts to obtain the best value for the organization.
Manage the purchasing department, including store and logistics.
Collaborate with internal departments, including engineering, production, projects and finance teams, to understand project requirements and develop procurement plans aligned with organizational objectives.
Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance, and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise.
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements related to wastewater treatment procurement.
Analyze procurement data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements throughout the procurement process.
Track and maintain inventory, perform month-end reconciliation, monitor the ageing of inventory, and make appropriate recommendations.
Generate summary and analysis reports for management review.
Representation in internal and external ISO audits.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for tender review, analysis, and management submittals including but not limited to interpretation of client requirements & proposal of the best solution, conceptual & detailed process design, process, and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), civil and equipment layout drawings, power and chemical requirements, procurement, full cost estimation and life cycle cost analysis and other submittal documentation as required.
Evaluate tender/proposal content requirements, assess feasibility, and manage deliverables.
Direct and manage a local team and company-wide subject experts to develop comprehensive, winning solutions, designs and bids for multinational water companies & EPCs
Develop and implement training for team members to ensure continuous skill enhancement and knowledge sharing.
Liaise with client/end-user at all stages to ensure a successful outcome.
Work closely with the engineer to develop technical solutions in line with the Company’s standards and overall philosophy.
Search and implement new technologies, processes, and product partners to ensure optimal solutions and opportunities for successful awards.
Technically and commercially review and sign off proposals under the relevant management approval structure.
Represent the Company at meetings, giving presentations and holding technical/commercial negotiations.
Develop in-house production of equipment and plants.

Our vision (with your expertise) is to manage a variety of projects together with our Design, Production and Installation team to establish excellent and profitable references in the water & wastewater treatment field.
Our projects are electromechanical nature-based. You will be responsible for managing projects through design, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning and handover to ensure the successful delivery of new installation and refurbishment projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, schedule, organize, control and evaluate construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget.
Liaise closely with the design/engineering team and ensure the final design is timely developed and client approval is secured.
Prepare technical data sheets, material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, proposal requests, and other construction-related correspondences and reports.
Develop detailed project plans and regularly monitor actual progress against established schedules and budgets.
Ensure that all the Company policies and procedures for ISO and OHSAS are strictly followed and maintained.
Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs and ensure variation orders are communicated timely to the clients.
Identify risks throughout the project lifecycle, analyze and ensure an effective response plan is implemented.
Perform project closeout walk-throughs with the client and verify that all project closeout documents and punch list items are completed
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:
University Degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Industrial Engineering.
Minimum 10 years of GCC experience in Project Management pertaining to water, wastewater and industrial effluent, with at least four of which as Project Manager. PMP certification is a plus
Experience with a manufacturing company in the field of water & wastewater treatment is preferable.
In-depth Technical knowledge of water and wastewater treatment process and its equipment – Mandatory.
Working Knowledge of Health & Safety
Pro at Cost & Risk Analysis, AUTO CAD, ISO Knowledge & PM Software
A UAE Driving License is required
Language Skills: English (fluent is a must)– Arabic (preferable) – German (would be an additional)
